[Mini-Guide] How to Create the Ice-Effect (Photoshop+Pics)

Hey Folks,

Ill be explaining how to create the Ice-Effect.

This is one Example of how it would look like:

Check-List:

->Photoshop. (Im using CS4 in this Tutorial)
->Juicy Brains.

Lets get started, :santa4:

First of all open a Document (Size doesn't matter)
Make the background Black so you can see the result better.

Now create a new Layer, Put in some text.

I will be using ''Chinyen'' Font. But you can use any font you'd like. Just experiment often with different fonts for different results.

Now, ''Right-Click'' On your text Layer and click ''Rasterize Layer or Rasterize Type'' One of these 2 are correct. (Depends which CS)
Make your text White if it wasn't yet.

-> Click Filter->Stylize->Wind, Click ''Direction From the Right''
-> Click Filter -> Stylize -> Wind and Click ''Direction from the Left'' now.

-> Now, Image->Rotate->90CW.

-> Click Filter -> Stylize -> Wind, Click ''Direction from the Right''
-> Click Filter -> Stylize -> Wind, Now click ''Direction from the Left''.

-> Image -> Rotate -> 90CCW.

Now its starting to look like something isn't it. :3

If u did it Right you should get an effect like this:




Now , Right click the '' Text Layer '' and select ''Blending Options''

-> Select ''Outer-Glow'' and choose a colour of your Liking ill be using ''#007eff''
-> Now select ''Inner-Glow'' and choose a colour of your Liking again mine is ''#0042ff''
-> Select ''Inner-Shadow'' and again choose a colour of your liking Mine's ''#0060ff'' Put the Angle on 120*
-> Select ''Drop-Shadow'' and choose a colour, Mines: ''#007eff''. Now put Angle on 120*


And done!

The Result should be something like this:
